We advise against removing the lubricating oil.

The full tang 9260 spring steel blade is designed for maximum strength and performance, with a blackening treatment and blood groove for added authenticity.

The blade is constructed from 9260 spring steel, with a weight of 1.20kg/2.6lbs, a length of 103cm/40.55 inches, and a blade length of 71cm/27.95 inches. The hardness is 52HRC, with a Sori of 1.8cm/0.71in. The handle is made of hardwood and decorated with black ray skin and black rope wrappings for a comfortable grip and aesthetic appeal.

The tsuba, or hand guard, is made of high-quality materials and designed to protect your hand during use. Our katana made of 9260 spring steel is tougher than other katanas, and the bending rebound is a performance that other low-priced, low-quality katana swords do not have.

Our blackening process uses a mixed solution of ferrous salt, strong alkali, and hydrazine hydrate to form a layer of dense iron oxide particles on the blade, providing a protective coating against rust and corrosion. We have also improved our packaging by including a simple knife holder inside.
