The purpose of the lubricating oil on the blade is to form an oil film on its surface, isolating it from oxygen in the air and preventing oxidation and rusting. The oil is a crucial part of maintaining the quality of the blade and should not be removed.

Our products are all handmade and forged in fire. We have upgraded our blades from 1060 high carbon steel to 9260 spring steel, making our katanas more practical and durable. The full tang 9260 spring steel blade is treated for blackening and features a blood groove. The handle is made of hardwood and is decorated with black ray skin and black rope wrappings for a comfortable grip and added aesthetic appeal.

The blade is fully handcrafted, made from 9260 spring steel, with a weight of 1.20kg/2.6lbs, a length of 103cm/40.55 inch, a handle length of 26cm/10.24 inch, and a blade length of 71cm/27.95 inch. The hardness of the blade is 52HRC, with no groove for blood and a Sori of 1.8cm/0.71in. The tsuba or hand guard is made of high-quality materials and is designed to protect your hand during use.

We have undergone a leaf blackening process to enhance the durability of our katana swords, making them tougher and more reliable than other low-quality options. Additionally, to better serve our customers, we have improved our packaging and added a simple knife holder inside the package.
