Product Description Our high specification tanto sword is a cost-effective option for those seeking practicality and quality craftsmanship. It adheres to traditional katana specifications and is designed to be disassembled and reassembled like a real samurai sword. The blade is made from T10 steel, providing a solid foundation for hardness, which is further enhanced through tempering and heat treatment. While it may not feature expensive mirror polishing, it offers excellent sharpness and cutting ability, making it a practical and cost-effective choice.

Fittings The tsuba set of the sword is made of alloy. Habaki and seppa are handmade from brass, combining to create an excellent short sword. The tsuka (handle) is made of hardwood, covered in real ray skin and leather ito. It is very tightly assembled to prevent movement, with high alloy fuchi and kashira and matching menuki. The sword can be disassembled by removing the mekugi (peg). The saya is made of hardwood and coated with high-grade paint for a glossy finish.

Package and Notice The sword comes with a silk sword bag, but the wooden stand in the pictures is not included. Please avoid storing the sword in a humid environment and keep the blade clean and coated with engine oil when not in use. Please note that hand-made items may have slight errors, and taxes are not included in the price.

Blade The T10 steel full tang blade is hand forged, clay tempered, and water quenched to achieve a real HAMON. The blade is polished by hand to razor sharpness and is suitable for real cutting activities such as Tameshigiri.

Tsuka/Saya The tsuka is wooden and wrapped with real ray skin, featuring traditional leather ITO wrapping and a fixed mekugi (peg) that allows for disassembly. The saya is made of hardwood and finished with lacquer work.

Fittings High-quality alloy is used to make the tsuba, fuchi, and kashira, while the habaki and seppa are crafted from brass. Our fitting assembly process ensures a high-quality tanto sword.
