Our traditional forging methods include heat tempering and clay tempering. The blades of all Handmade Swords are full tang and engraved with the signature of the swordsmith, allowing for complete disassembly and reassembly. Most of our functional blades are made of high carbon content steel, while stainless steel or aluminum alloy is used for Iaido training swords. The Tsuba and other fittings are primarily crafted from brass, though copper, iron, or alloy may also be used for Tsubas, depending on the specific design. The handles and scabbards are made of wood or other specified materials, with most handles covered by ray skin and Japanese cotton Ito.

Our packages include an assembled sword with Saya, a black cotton bag, and a tube cardboard sword box. Please note that sword stands are not included. The stainless steel Wakizashi training sword features an unsharpened edge, a full handmade construction, and an Empire Wheel pattern Tsuba. The blade measures approximately 21" in length, with a 9.5" handle, resulting in an overall length of 32.5". The wooden handle is covered with ray skin and wrapped with black cotton cord, while the black piano lacquered wooden scabbard is tied with black cotton Sageo.
