Crafted from Clay Tempered T10 steel, the BAYCANTO Sword is a 40.9 inch Japanese Katana with a striking Choji Hamon design. The blade, 28.0 inches in length, is laminated in a maru configuration and undergoes a series of processes including differential hardening, clay tempering, water quenching, and polishing with 14 distinct grinding processes to achieve a mirror finish and striking blade white effect.

The dimensions of the sword are as follows: Overall length is 40.9 inches, blade length is 28.0 inches, Tsuka length is 10.6 inches, blade width is 3.2 cm, and blade thickness is 0.7 cm. The blade material is Clay Tempered T10 Steel Hamon and the total weight of the sword is about 2.87 pounds (1.3 kg). The Tsuka is a wooden one wrapped with real ray skin, and the SAYA is made of hardwood with a lacquer work finish. The handle and blade are fixed by bamboo nails, ensuring the blade will not fall off the handle in any situation. The sword can also be disassembled for maintenance purposes.
