Handmade Samurai Katana Sword, 1045 Carbon Steel, Full Tang, Sharp Blade

This fully handmade quality Japanese Samurai Katana Sword features a blade made of carbon steel that is heat tempered, allowing it to be bent but return to its original shape. The edge is sharp, and the harmon (tempered line) is distinct, created by fully hand polishing. It also has a long hi (blood groove) on each side and a genuine ray skin handle wrapped with Japanese cotton Ito. The saia is made of black piano lacquered wood tied with black Japanese cotton Sageo, and the tang is full and engraved with a signature. The fittings are made of brass. The sword is brand new and can be fully disassembled and assembled.

The blade length with the hibachi is 28.5" and without the hibachi is 27", with a handle length of 10" and an overall length of 40.9". The sword weighs about 2.7 lbs with the scabbard and about 2.2 lbs without it. The package weight is 6 lbs.

This sword also includes a warrior tsuba, full tang, sharp edge, and functional design. The handle is approximately 10.5" and the overall length is about 40.9". It is also wrapped with a wooden handle, ray skin, and brown cotton cord with Dragon menuki. The saia is made of black piano lacquered wood tied with black Japanese cotton Sageo.
