Japanese Wakizashi Sword with Wooden Scabbard

Our traditional forging methods include heat tempering or clay tempering. All of our blades are full tang and bear the signature of the swordsmith, and they are fully capable of being disassembled and reassembled. The majority of our functional blades are forged from high carbon content steel, while we also offer blades made of stainless steel or aluminum alloy for Iaido training swords. Our fittings are primarily crafted from brass, with Tsubas available in copper, brass, iron, or alloy, depending on the specific Tsuba.

Handles and Saya (Scabbard) options include wooden or other specified materials, with most handles covered in rayskin and Japanese cotton Ito. Our package includes one assembled Wakizashi Sword with Saya, one Black Cotton Wakizashi Bag, and one Tube Cardboard Wakizashi Box. Please note that the Sword Stand is not included.

The 1045 Fully Handmade Quality Japanese Samurai Wakizashi Sword features a Warriors tsuba, full tang, sharp edge, and functional design, with an approximately 20.7" blade and a 9.6" handle, for an overall length of 32.8". The wooden handle is wrapped with ray skin and brown cotton cord with Dragon menuki, while the black piano lacquered wood Saya is tied with black Japanese cotton Sageo.
