All of our blades are full tang and engraved with the signature of the swordsmith, and they can be fully disassembled and assembled. Our Tsuba and other fittings are primarily made of brass, though we also use copper, iron, or alloy depending on each piece. The handles and scabbards are typically wooden, with the handles covered in rayskin and Japanese cotton Ito. When you purchase a sword from Handmade Sword, the package includes an assembled Wakizashi sword with saya, a black cotton Wakizashi bag, and a tube cardboard Wakizashi box. Please note that the sword stand is not included.
