This hand sharpened full tang katana features a double pegged high carbon steel blade that is hand forged and razor sharp. The sword has a good balance and perfect weight, with an overall length of 41 inches, a 27 1/2 inch blade, and a 10 1/2 inch handle. The 1/4" thick 1045 high carbon steel blade is housed in a glossy black wooden scabbard or saya, and features a cotton cord wrap and a black zinc square tsuba. The scabbard is painted with black high gloss paint, adding to the overall stunning appearance of the sword.
