Handmade Sword is a reputable company specializing in the hand-forging of authentic Japanese samurai swords. Our range includes Katana, Wakizashi, Tanto swords, and other sword accessories. All of our swords are meticulously crafted using traditional methods by skilled and experienced swordsmiths. We employ traditional forging methods such as Heat Tempering and Clay Tempering. Our blades are all full tang and are engraved with the signature of the swordsmith. They can also be fully disassembled and assembled. Most of our functional blades are made from high-carbon steel, while we also offer blades made from stainless steel or aluminum alloy for Iaido training swords. Our fittings are predominantly made from brass, with Tsubas being crafted from copper, brass, iron, or alloy.

Handles and scabbards are typically wooden, with most handles covered by rayskin and Japanese cotton Ito. Our package includes 1 fully assembled Wakizashi sword with saya, 1 black cotton Wakizashi bag, and 1 tube cardboard Wakizashi box. Please note that the sword stand is not included. The 1045 Fully Handmade Quality Japanese Samurai Wakizashi Sword features a warrior and characters tsuba, a sharp edge, and functional capabilities. It has an approximate 20.8" blade, 9.8" handle, and is 32.8" overall. The wooden handle is wrapped with rayskin and brown cotton cord with Dragon menuki, and the black piano lacquered wood is tied with black Japanese cotton Sageo.
