The set includes three matching handcrafted swords: the original "Black Knight" Katana (28" blade, 40" overall), wakizashi (21" blade, 31" overall), and tanto (13" blade, 22" overall). All feature full tang black Damascus steel blades, hand forged by Shinwa's master swordsmiths using proven, centuries-old techniques, with each blade boasting more than 1,000 distinct layers. An innovative process puts “black” in “black Damascus,” resulting in a blade with brooding dark beauty without equal. The tsukas are wrapped in faux ray skin and classic black ito, offset by brilliant brass dragon menuki and traditional wooden mekugi.
