Japanese Samurai Tanto Sword, 1045 Carbon Steel, Hand Forged & Tempered, Sharp Edge

Introducing the Sharpened Samurai Katana Sword, 288 Model. This sword features a Musashi tsuba and is made from 1045 carbon steel. The blade is fully hand forged and heat tempered, with a hi (blood groove) and hand sharpened by a Japanese whetstone. The hamon (tempered line) is also present on the blade.

The tsuka (handle) is made of wood and covered in genuine ray skin, wrapped in traditional Japanese cotton ito with menuki. The tang is full tang with wood peg (mekugi) and engraved with the blacksmith's signature. The saya (scabbard) is made of black piano lacquered wood with black cotton sageo (cord). The sword can be fully disassembled and reassembled.

With a blade length (with Habaki) of 12.5", handle length of 6.5" and overall length (with saya) of 21", the sword weighs 1.3 lb with the saya and 1 lb without it. The package weight is 3 lbs. The package includes 1 assembled tanto with saya, 1 black cotton tanto bag, and 1 tube cardboard tanto box.
