The Tsuba is designed with an Empire Wheel, and the Tsuka (handle) is made of wood covered in genuine ray skin and wrapped in black cotton ito with menuki. The tang is full and comes with 2 wood pegs (mekugi), engraved with the Swordsmith's signature. The Saya (scabbard) is made of black piano lacquered wood and wrapped in black cotton sageo (cord). This sword can be fully disassembled and reassembled for easy maintenance.

The blade length, including the Habaki, is approximately 21", with a handle length of 9.5", and an overall length, including the Saya, of 32.5".
