Upon receiving the sword, there may be wood chips attached to the blade's surface, which can be easily wiped off with a clean cloth or paper towel. It's important to note that the blade is extremely sharp and precautions should be taken to avoid injury. Regular maintenance is recommended when placing and collecting the sword, including keeping it away from water and direct sunlight.

The handle is fixed with two "bamboo nails" and wrapped with pure cotton rope for a tight, sweat-absorbing, and skid-resistant grip.

The blade of the Japanese sword is forged and polished using traditional techniques, resulting in a smooth surface. Made of T10 carbon steel, the blade undergoes processes such as hot forging, cutting, quenching, grinding, heat treatment, and tempering. This ensures that impurities are removed and the blade achieves the perfect balance of toughness and flexibility, producing a distinct blade grain (Hamon).

The material used in the sword's construction is of top quality, with the Tsuba and other accessories made of alloy material to prevent fading and discoloration. The sheath is crafted from wood, repeatedly polished, and lacquered with beautiful patterns. The handle (Tsuka) is made of wood, covered with white artificial fishskin inside (Samekawa), and wrapped with black cotton rope, while the Sageo is a black thick cotton rope for enhanced aesthetics.
