Handmade Samurai Katana Sword with Clay Tempered 1080/1095 Steel

Our swords are all handmade using traditional forging methods such as heat tempered or clay tempered. The blades are full tang and engraved with the signature of the swordsmith, and they can be fully disassembled and assembled. Most of our functional blades are made of high carbon content steel, while others are made of stainless steel or aluminum alloy for Iaido training swords.

Our fittings are made mostly of brass, with Tsubas made of copper, brass, iron, or alloy, depending on each Tsuba. The handles and Saya (Scabbard) are made of wood or other specified materials, with most handles covered by rayskin and Japanese cotton Ito.

Each package includes an assembled Katana with Saya and a Katana Bag, although it does not include a stand. The 1060 Fully Handmade Quality Japanese Samurai Katana Sword features a full tang, sharp edge, and is functional, with an approximate 28.4" blade and 10.5" handle, making the overall length 40". The wooden handle is wrapped with rayskin and black cotton cord with Menuki, and the black piano lacquered wood is tied with black Japanese cotton Sageo.
