Our swords are hand forged using ancient methods of sword making. The blades are hand polished and hand sharpened, with a full-length Tang to enhance strength. Made of T10 carbon steel Clay Tempered and laminated in a Maru style, our swords are strong enough to cut through thick bamboo with a single strike, yet sharp enough to slice paper. The long Hi (blood groove) on each side of the blade not only allows for a lighter blade and audible feedback when swung but also balances the blade for optimal performance. The tip of the blade is a Chu Kissaki (medium length).

One of our popular products is the Handmade Sharp Full Tang short Katana Wakizashi. It features a T10 steel Clay Tempered Steel Blade, Double Mekugi (Pegs), and an Alloy Tsuba. The overall length is 30″, with a blade length of 20 1/2″ and a handle length of 9″. The sword also comes with a black wooden Saya or Scabbard.
