Handmade Stainless Steel Iaido Training Katana/Wakizashi Sword

Our traditional forging methods include Heat Tempering and Clay Tempering. All of Handmade Sword’s blades are full tang, engraved with the signature of the swordsmith, and can be fully disassembled and reassembled. The majority of our functional blades are made of high carbon content steel, with options available in stainless steel or aluminum alloy for Iaido training swords. Most fittings are made of brass, and for Tsubas, we use copper, brass, iron, or alloy, depending on each Tsuba. Handles and Saya (Scabbard) can be made of wood or other specified materials, with most handles covered in rayskin and Japanese cotton Ito.

Our standard package includes an assembled sword with Saya and a black cotton bag, as well as a cardboard sword box. Please note that the sword stand is not included. One of our products, the Stainless Steel, Unsharpened Edge, Fully Handmade, Wakizashi Training Sword, features a Bamboo pattern Tsuba, full tang with Hi, and practical design. It boasts an approximate 21" blade, 9.5" handle, and is 32.5" overall. With a wooden handle that is covered in rayskin and wrapped in black cotton cord, and a black piano lacquered wooden scabbard tied with black cotton Sageo.
