Each sword from Handmade Sword is meticulously crafted using traditional methods by skilled and experienced swordsmiths, ensuring the highest quality.

Our swords are hand-forged using traditional methods such as Heat Tempered or Clay Tempered. The blades are full tang, engraved with the signature of the swordsmith, and can be fully disassembled and reassembled. Most functional blades are made of high carbon steel, while there are also options made of stainless steel or aluminum alloy for Aikido training swords.

The fittings of our swords are mostly made of brass, with options for copper, brass, iron, or alloy depending on the specific piece. Handles and scabbards are typically made of wood, with handles covered in ray skin and Japanese cotton Ito. Each package includes an assembled Katana sword with a scabbard, a black cotton Katana bag, and a cardboard Katana box. Please note that the sword stand is not included.

Our 1045 Fully Handmade Quality Japanese Samurai Katana Sword features a patterned tsuba, full tang, sharp edge, and functional design. With an approximately 28.3" blade and a 10.5" handle, the overall length is 42.5". The wooden handle is wrapped with ray skin and black cotton cord with Menuki, and the scabbard is black piano lacquered wood tied with black Japanese cotton Sageo.
