Sword Specifications This brand new katana features a blade made of L6 steel, clay tempered with a real choji hamon, and advanced manual grinding (Hadori-Polish) for a razor sharp finish. The structure is Maru, while the tsuka (handle) is made of hardwood, real ray skin covered, and tightly wrapped with real dark blue silk. The high-quality brass tsuba is carved to complete the pattern and gold-plated. The saya is made of hardwood inlaid with three horns around natural rattan. The overall length of the sword is 40.5 inches/103cm, with a nagasa length of 28 inches/71cm, and a handle length of 10.2 inches/26 cm, among other dimensions.

Blade The full tang L6 steel blade has undergone the ancient clay tempered process, resulting in high hardness and sharpness that easily cuts bamboo, paper, and more.

Fittings The tsuba set of the sword is made of high quality brass, gilt silver, very beautiful and durable. The tsuka and saya are also made of hardwood, with intricate details and excellent assembly process.
